Grey Winter Dress

Reiss Dress (similar) | Zara Bag (similar) | Dune Boots (similar, but better)

I used to wear only trousers in Winter, but I love a good dress. Last year I started purchasing some comfortable and warmer dresses for the season. Wearing them with over the knee boots works so well, and this one in particular is wool so super warm. I actually got it in a light grey too. When you love something, buy it in 2 colours right?! Also, who else loves lounging at home in a pretty outfit?

My first month of being an intern has flown by, and I think I may slowly be getting the hang of things. I've chosen my specialty (diagnostic imaging/radiology) which is really exciting, and the whole reason I chose to do a rotating internship. I'm also still studying for my NAVLE which is proving challenging with everything else on my to do list, but once it's done hopefully it will be easier to focus on just one thing at a time.

I hope you are all having a lovely start to your week.

So Christmas and January were a blur (a good blur), but now I'm typing this post from the intern house. Quick recap. Christmas was great, lots of time with family along with a few days in Austria prior. January I started to really focus on studying again (sitting my NAVLE in April - send help) and I finished working in general practice. My rotating internship started 2 weeks ago now. You can see more of what I'm up to on my Youtube channel, where I'm also trying to post whenever I get a chance.

So back to this fabulous outfit. If you've been here a while, you may remember this coat from here. It's a really good piece for Autumn or even UK Winter (on occasion) and immediately elevates an outfit. Don't you just LOVE the faux fur sleeves?! Also, don't do what I did and put your cashmere scarf in the washing machine (on a normal setting)....

I also love an over the knee boot, but I can't say I'd purchase these again. This particular pair involve a lot of pulling the boots up and tying them so tight you cut off your circulation. Not ideal, so I would avoid the tie up ones in the future and go for a different style (like the alternative linked). However, they are a fabulous and comfortable boot otherwise, so the brand I would recommend if you are on the hunt for a new pair of boots.

I hope you are having a lovely day. Chat soon.
