Today I thought I would talk about something I often struggle with, when it comes to my blog and maybe even more so, my instagram. I never really considered myself a perfectionist (although some who know me might disagree), even though being a Virgo basically suggests I must be. However, I strive to create the best images I can to put on this blog, and often I find that I don't love how the photos turned out, or even worse, the outfit. I have two outfits I shot within the last two weeks, which just didn't make the cut. While I would love to do them over and over until I get the right lighting and background, time wise I can't. Also seeing as taking photos is a two person job (the photographer being my mother or friends) I can hardly ask them to spend hours and hours doing this. All I (and anyone) can do is aim to constantly improve, and not get too stressed over things not being exactly as I would wish.
With all that being said, I LOVE this outfit (the photos I feel could improve, but I'm only human, and not a model or a photographer). It was a very hot day yesterday. I headed across the border to Bratislava for some shopping and bought these beautiful shoes, which I'm head over heels for. They are similar to the Chanel ones I have seen everywhere, which of course are nowhere near my budget. I don't own anything like them, which is how I convinced myself I needed them.
I'm flying to Ireland in a couple of days to do clinic practice with a friend of mine who graduated a few years ago. Really excited, since I have never been to Ireland and also to see her, it's been far too long!
