Skinny Jeans & Flip-Flops

Took these pictures in Ljubljana (Slovenia) when I was there a week ago now. The background is the castle ruins, which were quite a treck up to, or more unexpected. It was right in the middle of the city. I wore this pale pink sequinned top, which could be quite dressy, if this outfit were paired with heels. Since it was just a sightseeing day, I wore my flip-flops to keep things comfortable. Normally I don't like to wear skinny jeans and flip-flops, but my feet were not happy. I actually think it turned out ok.

I am planning to share some pictures from the trip soon. Just trying to get this exam done tomorrow.

Jelly Sandals

Here is a look at what I wore on the roadtrip to Slovenia. It was warm enough to wear shorts but not too warm, so I added a scarf for extra cosiness in the car. I found these jelly sandals the day before and they were a steal at under 10 euros! I will try and link some similar ones. For roadtrips, I like to be comfortable, and normally I would wear leggings, but it seemed too warm for those. However, these denim shorts were just find since they aren't too tight. Just realised I basically wore the same outfit here with jeans, oops!

Yesterday I went to the class graduating, graduation party and it was great to see everyone before they go off and start being vets, time really flies! Hopefully that will be me soon enough :) Have a great weekend!

Flower Skirt

I seriously love this skirt and get so much use out of it. It is perfect to dress up or down and the pattern is quite subtle, but still floral and perfect for Summer. This is what I wore to dinner, but I had some errands to do before, so this outfit was ideal. I know I have been using this bag non-stop, but it is such a good size, and also I haven't been home in a while, so I don't have access to all my bags here at Uni.

On another note, I got back Saturday evening from a trip to Slovenia with some friends. It was so much fun, and the scenery was stunning. It reminded me of Switzerland, with cute villages and cows roaming around (love seeing cows outside with free space!). Now it is time to get back to finish the rest of my exams. It sounds like they are never-ending, which it totally feels like too!

Ultimate Handbag Wishlist

Happy Friday! I thought it would be fun to share my ultimate wishlist for luxury handbags. Obviously it will be years and years until I own even one of these probably, but a girl can dream right? I love seeing peoples top dream bags, so thought I would show you mine. I sometimes like to create wishlist boards on pinterest. I think these bags would be the perfect staples for me, and the perfect combination of colours for every occasion. What are your dream luxury bags?

Denim Shorts and Wedges

I know what you are thinking! Is it a ghost?! I admit to being extremely pale these days, and ever since I moved away from Spain, the Sun just doesn't seem to appear that often around here. But, I promise you I look even paler in these pictures, how that is possible I do not know!

Anyway all that aside, this is a perfect casual Summer outfit. The wedges keep it comfortable yet add a little something and the flowy blouse dresses the denim shorts up a little.

I have yet another exam tomorrow, so fingers crossed for that! :)

Revision in the Park

New Yorker Top (similar) | Mango Jeans (similar, I distressed/ripped mine) | H&M Flats (similar) | Betty Barclay Blazer (similar) | Mango Bucket Bag | H&M Sunhat | Zara Sunglasses (similar)

Last week I decided to do some revision in the park in order to get some Sun and fresh air. I like to sit in the Sun, or I get too cold in the shade, but also can't stand too much heat on my face. This explains the umbrella size hat (isn't it so Sex and the City?!) and oversized sunglasses. I also happen to get tonnes of freckles if I am out in the Sun too much without sunscreen. I have been using this for my face everyday, and let me say it is amazing if you have oily skin or just get really shiny from regular sunscreen.

Also I have just started running in the evenings for about 20 minutes and then doing a workout at home. The reason for this sudden exercise and conscious eating is due to a trip coming up next week! I will be taking lots of pictures and plan on taking some fun outfits with me.

Striped Chiffon Top

Happy Tuesday everyone! It is a happy one around here, since I just passed another exam. Planning on taking the rest of the day off and watching Pretty Little Liars season premiere finally and a new episode of Rich Kids of Beverly Hills (the proposal episode!). Summer is in full swing now, so I will hopefully start posting more shorts and skirts in my outfits.

This top is one of my absolute favourites, if not my favourite. I got it last year in Zara. I love how it has stripes, but not your usual black & white or navy & white. It is chiffon, which is my all-time favourite material for tops to wear, because it is so lightweight and flowy and flattering (and who doesn't love that?!). Also loving the back detail. I paired it with skinny jeans because it wasn't all that warm and it the weather was undecided about raining (which it did here and there). I added my Betty Barclay blazer  for an extra layer.

Oh and what do you guys think of these sunglasses? I kind of imagined them to be more flattering when I ordered them, but think they just make my nose look wide. Still like them, but reckon it wasn't my best purchase. Do you buy sunglasses online or always try to go to a shop and try them on?

Coral Top

H&M Top (similar) | H&M Tank Top | Betty Barclay Blazer (similar) | Zara Leggings | H&M Flats (similar) | Trussardi Sunglasses (old) | Mango Bucket Bag

This was particular tricky outfit to shoot, simply because it was so windy! I should have foreseen it and put my hair in a bun or ponytail, but oh well. How pretty is this gate? Love the gold rose detailing, thought it would make for an interesting background. I decided to wear leggings since I was going to the spa so I wanted to be comfortable but still put together. I wore this coral (or orange?!) top for a pop of colour, but since it is somewhat sheer and not very long I added a basic white tank top underneath which was also long enough to cover some of my behind. As you probably know by now I love this blazer so much, and thought it dressed up the outfit a little.

In other news I passed my parasites exam! So excited I can't even explain. Still have a few more exams to go (quite a few #sadface) but this was the biggest one by far. It has warmed up considerably here, think it almost reached 30 degrees yesterday. Oh, and I bought this new sunscreen, which I tried on today and I think I am in love! It is a matte one which is a big must since my previous moisturizer with SPF was making me look SO shiny. It makes me look slightly paler (is that even possible?!) but totally worth it in my opinion and barely noticable. Have a great weekend! :)

Comfortable Shorts

New Yorker Top (similar) | H&M Shorts (similar) | Deichmann Wedges (similar here & here) | Zara Sunglasses (similar)

Hi guys! I hope you are all off to a great week, with hopefully some nice weather too. I will keep this short as I have an exam tomorrow, but how cute are these shorts?! I bought them in H&M about two years ago, and they are so comfortable, yet cute. I love adding a plain white or black top and let the shorts do the talking. I have linked some similar ones, they come out with different patterns every year. I feel like I am wearing workout shorts or pyjamas, which is always a win. I wore this to a lunch in town, and cycled there, another activity they are perfect for! To dress it up a little I wore my favourite wedges. Overall a comfortable, yet put together outfit, perfect for beating the sweltering heat (which it was!).
