I love discovering new healthy but tasty snacks all the time, as I'm trying to eat cleaner and healthier. I'm big on snacks, especially if I'm studying, as I get so bored! These are all pretty simple to make.
Today I'm sharing with you my current favourites! You can also find them on my Pinterest.
1. Cherry Tomatoes & Mozzarella Balls.
These are a recent discovery, but I love it so much! I plan on buying a packet of toothpicks, and preparing them in advance on a plate to have in the fridge. They taste amazing!
2. Crackers, Smoked Salmon & Chopped Onions
I absolutely love smoked salmon, and since I'm not a massive bread fan, I prefer to eat it with crackers. Chopped onions on top literally make it amazing though, you must try it! Although perhaps not the best if you will be in close contact with others haha.
3. Garden Salad with Feta
This is more time-consuming as a snack, especially if you're in a hurry. I always like to have a big bowl of salad in my fridge so I can just get it easily or put it in a tupperware to go. This is the perfect lunch snack for school I find. I also will sometimes make a meal out of this salad followed by the salmon if I'm looking for a light dinner.
4. Sliced Green Apple (my favourite is Granny Smith)
I have re-discovered my love for apples, green ones in particular. I used to eat them a lot when I was younger and then went completely off them in my teens and up until now. I'm also extremely picky about the presentation of it, I swear it tastes better when cut into thin slices!
5. Freshly Squeezed Grapefruit Juice
I love citrus in general and especially drinks, this is such an easy one to do and always have on hand if you have a grapefruit in your fruit basket. I like to squeeze it and run it through a sieve to avoid any pulp. It's also the perfect Summer refreshing drink.
What are some of your favourite snacks? I would love to learn some more, one can never know too many!
