Passed my Radiology exam yesterday! Can't even begin to tell you how relieved I feel about it. I have one more to do, but honestly have absolutely no motivation to do it. Hometime on Monday! Absolutely can't wait. My week has been quite uneventful, with revision basically taking over my life. Yesterday, after my exam I went and celebrated with going out for breakfast (AKA pancakes!)

Striped Blouse

Zara Blouse (similar in top version) | Zara Jeans (Old) | Faux Fur Vest (similar) | Tommy Hilfiger Boots (similar and on SALE!) | Michael Kors Bag (Outlet) | Swarovski Necklace | Citizen Watch (similar) | Pandora Bracelet

I snapped this blouse up in Zara on sale a few weeks back when I was home, and needless to say I love it. I think there are so many ways to wear this, and I can't wait to try pairing it with skirts and shorts (ehem... that is when the weather actually warms up!). I try to shop in Zara whenever there are sales, since they always have really great deals, and being a student I do have a budget to stick to. I am a big fan of flowy tops and blouses, they are just so flattering, (and it absolutely doesn't matter if you decide to have 3 chocolate chip cookies at subway instead of  just 1). One of my best friends took these pictures in the shopping centre as it was snowing outside and too dark.

I hope you all had a better weekend than I did, since mine was spent at home revising. I'm here one more week and then I'm going back home to Austria for a week before the Uni officially starts again. It's safe to say I cannot wait to get home! My plans for this week include studying and giving my Persian a bath.

Spring 2015 Style Trends

This morning I was on Harper's Bazaar and spotted the post on the Spring 2015 Runway Report. I decided to write down the trends, as a reminder to myself once Spring actually rolls around (now would be nice...). As I was writing my list, I decided to do a blog post and share it as I find it easier than scrolling through a lot of pictures when I just want to get to the point. Happy Monday! I have to admit, I´m a bit obsessed with the location of todays pictures! How cute is that door and medieval wall?! So this weekend has been spent indoors studying. My exam last week went well, but I'm rather dreading my Radiology exam this week. Just two more left and I will be able to go home again! Also I have been thinking about making a posting schedule, maybe twice a week? I find I personally work better with a schedule, and I prefer reading blogs which I know when they will post and how often, that way I know how often to check back. What do you think? Any input would be great!

Liebster Award

I would like to thank Cat from Class Meets Couture for nominating me for the Liebster Award!  This award is like a chain letter for bloggers.  It's passed from blogger to blogger to encourage the support of new and upcoming bloggers. To be nominated, a fellow blogger has to find your blog (rules say you have to have less than 1000 followers).  That blogger will nominate you by sending you 11 fun questions to answer!  You are to answer the questions, post them to your blog, and then nominate 11 more bloggers and ask them 11 questions!  For further details, click on this link!

Here are the questions I was asked by Cat!

When did you start blogging and why?
I uploaded my first post at the end of October 2014. I have been reading blogs for so many years, mainly decor and fashion related, and had always wanted to have one of my own.

What is the story behind your blog name?
Stiletto in the Cloud is a play on words with ‘Head in the Cloud’, because I love high-heels and I love to dream.

What is your biggest pet peeve?
People who don’t try.

Coffee or tea?
Tea 100%. I actually can’t stand coffee, which is horrible, considering I am not a morning person, and could really use the boost.

What is one of your goals for the year 2015?
To become more organized. In 2014 I really got into using my filofax and this year I just want to expand on having everything planned out and organized.

If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life, what would you eat?
Salads. You can make so many different ones, it wouldn’t be a problem! (Is that cheating?)

What is your guilty pleasure?
Barbie, life in the dreamhouse.

Cookies, cake, or ice cream?
Cookies.

If you had to live in one place for the rest of your life, where would you live?
Somewhere hot. I hate the cold weather.

What is the craziest adventure you've been on so far?
I went Jet-skiing about an hour and a half away from my home with my best friend. It was crazy since we didn’t tell anyone we were going, yet had planned it months in advance. We were definitely younger than the age limit, but it was such an amazing experience. Can’t wait to try it again!

If you had to be a color, what color would you be and why?
Pink, because I’m a serious girly girl.

I would like to now nominate the following amazing bloggers:

1. Chescka from Chescka's Closet
2.  Hilary from Hil's Haberdashery
3. Chottie from Charlton Lee
4. Emilie from Miss Confidential
5. Vanessa from Sevenmins
6. Susie from Leopard Living
7. Aimee from Eat Shop Fly
8. Julianne from With love, Julianne
9. Jossy from Jossy's Inspirations
10.  Camille from Silly Medley
11. Alexandra from Someblondesthoughts

So it's up to you bloggers to keep the Liebster award going.  Answer these questions, post them to your blog, and nominate 11 more bloggers!
And here is my list of questions for you!

1. What motivated you to start a blog?
2. High-heels or flats?
3. Favourite Starbucks drink?
4. Do you have any pets? If so what?
5. What camera do you use for your blog?
6. Where is your dream place to live?
7. What country/state would be on the top of your list to visit?
8. What is your 'plan' for the next five years?
9. How do you find time for your blog? Do you have a posting schedule?
10. Name your three favourite bloggers.
11. Do you have resolutions/goals for 2015? What are they?

Hope you have as much fun doing this as I did!

Khaki Quilted Vest

Zara Vest (similar on SALE!) | H&M Jumper |Zara Jeans (similar) | Tommy Hilfiger Boots (similar) | Necklace (similar) | Scarf (similar) | Bag (similar) | Boohoo Sunglasses (similar)

Here is a fun outfit I wore the other day. By the way, the reason these boots keep making an appearance is because it´s the only pair I brought home this time! I can´t wait to be reunited with my other boots. This vest is great and not too thick, making it quite versatile even when it will start to get warmer. The scarf was perfect for a pop of colour, but I added a necklace for when I want to take the scarf off if it is too warm inside. I'm now back at University and studying for exams, which is totally not fun at all. Hopefully time will just pass faster!

Salzburg, Obendorf and Inseln Trip

Here are a few pictures from my trip to visit my brother and his family over Christmas. He lives in Germany, but near the border with Austria near Salzburg.

These are just a couple pictures of the mountains in Inseln (Germany). My nephews grandparents have an apartment here so we just came for the afternoon and took a walk around just as it was finally starting to snow!

This was in Oberndorf, a town in Austria, right next to the border with Germany. Here in this chapel is where the Christmas song Silent Night lyrics were composed apparently. It was destroyed, but this is the rebuilt version.

And finally one my favourite cities, Salzburg (Austria). It is such a charming city, with the old part having more of a town feel. There are so many small alleys and it almost gives a bit of a Harry Potter feel which I love.
